How We Will Fast Together

For 21 consecutive days, the Rebirth family will seek God together with one heart and one direction. This is not a fast for a building alone. We are asking God to prepare us to carry His presence, discern where He is sending us, and reach the next life He places before us.

“But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; that thou appear not unto men to fast ... and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly”

Fast Schedule

·  Dates: Monday, September 14 through Sunday, October 4.

·  Daily fasting window: 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

·  Noon corporate prayer, pray our 21 Day corporate prayer and weekly prayer from wherever you are

·  Water is permitted and encouraged throughout the fasting window.

·  After 3:00 PM, break the fast prayerfully and eat with moderation.

·  Sundays are included so that we complete 21 consecutive days in unity.

A Wise and Safe Fast

Fasting is an act of consecration, not a competition. Anyone who is pregnant, nursing, managing diabetes or another health condition, taking medication, or under medical care should follow professional medical guidance and select a safe alternative. Children and youth should participate through age-appropriate sacrifices rather than restrictive food fasting.

Possible alternatives include giving up sweets, social media, entertainment, unnecessary spending, or another regular comfort while maintaining the same prayer and Scripture rhythm.

Our Daily Rhythm

Unity does not require everyone to pray the same words in exactly the same way. Unity means we agree on the same spiritual direction and faithfully walk through it together.

1.     5:00 AM - Gather in prayer. Join the prayer call. Begin the day surrendered and listening.

2.     Read the assigned Scripture. Read it slowly at least twice. Notice what it reveals about God, you, and our assignment.

3.     Pray the central prayer. This keeps the entire church aligned across all 21 days.

4.     Pray the current week's prayer. This concentrates our intercession on the purpose of that week.

5.     Carry one sentence throughout the day. Write a word, instruction, conviction, name, or burden from your meditation.

6.     Take one obedient step. Forgive, encourage, invite, serve, contact, give, or act as the Holy Spirit directs.

7.     3:00 PM - Close the fasting window. Thank God, record what He revealed, and break the fast with moderation.

Central Prayer for All 21 Days

Father, prepare us in Your presence, give us Your heart for where You are sending us, and send us to the next life. Search us, heal our homes, and unite Rebirth around the mission of Jesus. Teach us to see people as You see them and to serve them with compassion, truth, and humility.

Go before us. Open the right doors, close the wrong ones, and make us sensitive to Your direction. Lead us to those who feel forgotten, wounded, disconnected, or far from You. Make us witnesses not only through what we say, but through how we love, serve, and live.

Keep us from becoming more focused on a building than on the lives You have called us to reach. Let Your presence be our distinction, Your Word be our foundation, and transformed lives be the evidence of our assignment. Lead us to the next life. Let that life be reborn, that heart be rebuilt, and that believer be released. Prepare us. Position us. Send us. In Jesus' name, amen.

Prepare Us in Your Presence

Why We Begin Here

Before Rebirth asks where we will gather, we must settle who will lead us there. Moses understood that reaching a destination without God's presence would not be success. Week 1 brings our hearts, homes, leaders, and church family into alignment so that we do not carry old wounds, division, distraction, or performance into a new season.

WEEK 1 GOAL: A spiritually prepared, healed, and united Rebirth family that values God's presence above platform, property, or presentation.

What We Are Praying For

·  Personal repentance, cleansing, and renewed hunger for God.

·  Healing and peace in our homes, marriages, families, minds, and bodies.

·  The removal of offense, fear, pride, distraction, and internal division.

·  Strength, wisdom, discernment, and protection for our leaders.

·  A church marked by genuine spiritual power rather than performance.

Weekly Prayer

Lord, prepare us in Your presence. Search our hearts, cleanse our motives, heal our homes, and unite our church. Remove everything that would hinder us from representing Jesus well. Restore our hunger for Your Word and prayer. Let Your presence become more important than our plans, presentation, or platform. Sanctify us and make us ready for the people You are sending us to serve. We refuse to move without You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Give Us Your Heart for Where You Are Sending Us

Why We Flow Here Next

After God prepares us inwardly, He turns our attention outward. While we wait for clarity concerning the exact gathering place, we do not force an answer or attach the assignment to one address. We ask God to reveal where He is already working, whose hearts He is preparing, and how Rebirth should love and serve the people there.

WEEK 2 GOAL: A discerning church that follows God's direction, carries Christ's compassion, and sees the people behind every place.

What We Are Praying For

·  Clear direction concerning where and how Rebirth should gather and serve.

·  Open doors that agree with God's purpose, timing, stewardship, and assignment.

·  Closed doors where a location would distract, strain, or move us outside His will.

·  Christ's compassion for the families, children, schools, neighborhoods, and leaders around us.

·  Divine relationships and opportunities to listen, learn, serve, and build trust.

Weekly Prayer

Lord, give us Your heart for where You are sending us. Guide us with Your eye and make our path clear. Open the doors that belong to our assignment and close every door that would distract us. Keep us from falling in love with an address before understanding the people attached to it. Show us where You are already working, who is waiting there, and how Rebirth can serve with compassion, wisdom, and humility. We trust Your direction and Your timing. In Jesus' name, amen.

Why We End Here

The fast ends with mission because preparation and direction must produce obedience. The true question is not only, 'Where will Rebirth gather?' It is, 'Whose life will be different because Rebirth is present?' Jesus notices the one. Our October launch succeeds when people encounter Jesus, receive care, enter discipleship, and begin a transformed life.

WEEK 3 GOAL: Every member becomes a compassionate witness who prayerfully reaches, invites, serves, and walks with at least one person.

What We Are Praying For

·  Divine appointments and courage to speak, invite, pray, and serve.

·  Eyes to see the overlooked, wounded, disconnected, and spiritually hungry.

·  An October launch that introduces people to Jesus, not merely to Rebirth.

·  Faithful follow-up, discipleship, and care for every person God sends.

·  A lasting spiritual imprint expressed through transformed lives and restored families.

Weekly Prayer

Lord, send us to the next life. Order our steps, open our mouths, and make us sensitive to every person You place before us. Give us courage to witness, compassion to serve, and patience to build genuine relationships. Let our October launch be more than an event; let it become the beginning of transformed lives, restored families, and disciples being made. Help each of us see the one, reach the one, and walk faithfully with the one. In Jesus' name, amen.

Walking in Unity

The 21 days form one spiritual journey. We will not separate presence from people or direction from mission.

WEEK 1 God prepares us in His presence.

WEEK 2 God gives us His heart and clarifies where He is sending us.

WEEK 3 God sends us to the next life with compassion and courage.

Our Unity Commitments

·  I will participate faithfully without comparing my fast to someone else's.

·  I will join the 5:00 AM prayer call whenever possible and remain connected to the church family.

·  I will meditate on the assigned Scripture and listen for God's instruction.

·  I will protect unity, refuse gossip, release offense, and pray for our leaders and members.

·  I will remain open to God's answer concerning where Rebirth should gather.

·  I will ask God to show me the next life I am called to love, invite, serve, and disciple.

Final Declaration

We are empowered by His presence.
We are sent with His heart.
We are seeking the next life.

We will not move ahead of God, and we will not remain still when He says go.
